When we falter or fail, the temptation is to retreat or give up. But failure, as Rev. Dr. Eileen Epperson shows, can be the starting point for profound renewal.
For more than 35 years, Eileen has guided people through their hardest seasons — as a Presbyterian minister, chaplain, life coach, and creator of The Forgiveness Process®. She has helped thousands release regret, resentment, and grief to reclaim their joy, freedom, and power.
Eileen believes forgiveness is not sentimental. It is practical. It is a conscious choice — a technology of completion that allows us to let go of what binds us and make room for new futures. This conviction shapes her work across the globe, from interfaith leadership as an Ambassador for the Parliament of the World's Religions to supporting women farmers in Burkina Faso through The Hunger Project.
Her partnership with the ALT Foundation has already impacted more than 1,000 women through the African Women’s Leadership and Mental Wellbeing Course (AWLC). Together with Daniel Kamanga, she has helped participants — including teen moms, refugees, clergy, and professionals — transform faltering into strength, forgiveness into freedom, and brokenness into possibility.

Every leader falters. Every visionary encounters failure. What sets transformational leaders apart is how they respond — and for Daniel Kamanga, the key is forgiveness.
Daniel is the Founder and CEO of the Africa Leadership Transformation (ALT) Foundation, an ambitious initiative committed to raising one million transformational leaders across 10 African countries by 2050. With more than 30 years of leadership experience in media, financial services, telecommunications, microfinance, and agriculture, Daniel is a bridge-builder across sectors and generations.
What distinguishes Daniel’s work is his fascination with the confluence of leadership and forgiveness. He has seen firsthand how brilliant leaders stall — not because of lack of vision, but because of unresolved disappointments, regrets, and resentments. For him, unforgiveness lies at the core of being stuck, faltering, and failure. He believes every successful leader must master the practice of daily and regular forgiveness to sustain clarity, momentum, and power.
In partnership with Rev. Dr. Eileen Epperson, Daniel has helped distinguish the critical role forgiveness plays in leadership. Together they developed the Forgiveness Module of the African Women’s Leadership and Mental Wellbeing Course (AWLC) and the Certificate in Leadership for Faith Changemakers (CLFC)
These programs have already impacted women leaders, including refugees, teen moms, clergy, and professionals across Africa. Participants consistently testify that the module was the turning point in reclaiming their vision and agency.
As co-course leader of Reclaim Your Vision After Faltering and Failure, Daniel brings authenticity, courage, and lived experience. He has led teams through both external success and internal collapse, and he knows the cost of pretending everything is fine when it isn’t. His leadership is marked by honesty, resilience, and a fierce commitment to helping others rise again.
With Daniel as your guide, you will discover how faltering is never final — and forgiveness can become your pathway to renewed vision.
